One month has past since my previous entry.

Let me recall what are the 'memorable' events that happened over this stretch of a month.

-Promos (I ended my previous entry with GP)
-Games fest
-Open Day
-Training resumed for badminton
-Haze made me postpone my cycling trainings
-Holiday plans

Ahh, let me have another look at those events again. Promo results were released yesterday, 20 Oct. I achieved a B (bio), C (GP), D (math), E (econs), E (chem) for overall year 1 grades. Pretty disappointing, but at least there's improvement in all the subjects apart from GP. The momentum's there, but PW is right here to stay with me till 6 Nov. OP is a killer, so much work. Last night Weishun came over to my house to complete the necessary preparations for our OP slides and such, but after about 4 hours of rather intensive work, progress went up to only 58% (calculation based on my final impression) from 30%. He kept 'complaining' that he's feeling tired and sleepy while editing. So funny, I had to find means to perk him up, like create some crappy topics for a conversation haha.

Basil came over at 11.30pm, after his math tuition ended at 9.30pm near serangoon. Promos is over, and yet they are still attending TUITION! Sounds so diligent and muggish lol. I told Basil to take 72 form hougang to tampines, and I'll wait there to 'escort' him back to my house. Guess what happened eventually, he took another bus which I can't remember the service number, and landed himself in Bedok. So I had to reverse my trip towards the west. But well, it was a chance for myself to walk walk late at night after months of incubation alongside my books. Weishun was stoning at the wall when we came back.

Ok, back to the monday after promos. It was Games Fest. Badminton as usual has its sports clinic. It turned out to be a free session for badminton susilo wannabes to exercise some wrist muscles and footwork. And I represented Aqua for Ultimate frisbee. We lost every single match we played. Houses that we challenged, Aerius, Solaris, Terra. Was a good fight though. And I had a super long shot attack at Terra which turned out beautifully when Basil caught it behind the opponent's line. I was extremely happy about it. Bet the Terrarians were in total shock when I lauched that long range shot which landed in perfection. I fell on the field a couple of times, and had to suffer rashes for a couple of days due to the irritation by the grass.

Open Day: 8 JCs were having Open House concurrently, and we're one of them. Turnout was bad. I must say a bulk of them came from IPs and those sec4s who think NJ is their ideal JC. There were a few relatively good players from RV who would make the cut to the team if they enter next year. But that's better than none.

Training resumed for badminton! But sadly coach is only back on 26 Oct, which happens to be the final training in the hall for us this year before the main papers for A levels begin in Nov. Trying to get some momentum back as well.

Haze alert in Singapore! Expected to last for months. When I cycled on 17 Oct to East Coast Park, it really felt like I was cycling in a totally different world. Vision was totally horrendous. And I was told to not cycle till Nov, when coach (cycling) will give the team a 2007 training plan. Definitely must start strong next year. Ah that's like 1 month plus no proper training for cycling. Feels so deprived. Really can't wait to start cycling!

Ah I'm going for YLTC! It's from 14-18 Nov. This is will be my last adventure camp before I face my A levels next year. I want it to be very memorable and exciting. I'm going to really enjoy it. Besides that camp, there aren't any other major holiday plans unless I head back to Taiwan to visit my relatives. This is unconfirmed as of now. Oh btw, my passport was extended to 16 March 2011, that's 4 and half years extension! Sounds like a change in policy.

Let me check the time. It's past midnight now. Better hurry off to bed! There's church service tomorrow! Happy deepavali to all, especially to all my Hindu friends! Nite!
