listening to a conversation

Something which my mum said in chinese, that I find much truth in, "This is the right place for you, because here is where your wife is." After listening to that, I sat by the sofa, and happened to look across the room to a scripture written in chinese. A series of verses from 1 Cor 13. And as I read, I told myself, I must work hard to live that out.

And oh, in case I forgot, I have acquired my boat driving license. Can't wait to hire a boat and zip my way across the waves!

Taiwan visit

Day 2 in Taiwan

And I am treasuring every moment.

After sending my cousin to her school early in the morning, I accompanied my grandma to the wet market to purchase ingredients (some of which can't be bought in Spore) to prepare for dinner. We're expecting a friends' gathering tonight at our place. And something I've learnt so far, before cooking fish, make sure all the blood's removed, so that the fish would not be so 'xin'. Maybe I'll have a chance to pick up more skills along the way =D

Ate the 'Mi Sua Gor' (Or better known as 'Mian Sian') from 'Wu Shi Chang', feeling accomplished! The taste here in Taichung is slightly different from those elsewhere, especially Taipei and Kaohsiung, where they don't add 'Sha Char'.

It's so surreal to be back here in Taiwan.
