halfway a doc
It's nearing Christmas, and today's my last day at my dad's place for the year. I won't be seeing my dad for the next 7 months, as my next visit will be during summer. I'm sitting diagonally opposite my mum at the dining table, both of us looking intently at the screen before us. She's enjoying a new Korean drama series introduced to her by my Taiwanese cousin, while I, sipping my cup of water and penning down a blog post. Bliss.
I've completed half of medical school, the easier half I would say. The next segment of my training will be tougher and definitely a notch more challenging. It'll require extra consistency, and a solid foundation of the basic sciences. Knowledge acquired will have to be integrated and applied to ensure that I can produce the best management plan and patient care. Sounds daunting, doesn't it? The vast information learned will have to be internalised and processed to churn out the best patient care plan. It takes plenty of preparation. 台上一分鐘~台下十年功.
