My domestic helper has finally arrived back at home, her 'second' home of course. I wonder how the past 3 weeks has treated her. She must have felt the freedom, and the warmth of family.

I'll take my hat off for her, and for many other domestic helpers who venture far-away from their hometowns to serve foreign families - that just couldn't spend enough time or effort to take care of things/people at home as they slog their way through at work. So these families spend their cash to hire domestic help. My oh my, how am I supposed to survive if I'm at work 24/7 at someone's place in a foreign land, taking care of all the household needs and WANTS? That is why I truly admire their humbleness, and willingness to work through the tough demands from their 'bosses'.

And I had a taste of doing most of the household chores on my own - cleaning my own room, washing my laundry, cooking my own food, walking + feeding the dogs, and definitely more cleaning cleaning cleaning. I appreciate the preview of what life would be like when I'm overseas for study. Independence ehh...

Oh God a simple prayer I make.
