Things came to a standstill. I was back in my sec 2 classroom sitting by my table, looking at my male classmates arm-wrestling one another, and the girls giggling to each other about a recent gossip. The classroom bell has not rung, and outside the class some students are hustling back to their learning cove from the canteen in attempt to beat the teacher's nearing footsteps. I curiously glanced down at my wrist-watch, and realised it was close to 2pm. School day's ending soon. In no time I'll be back at the badminton hall doing footstep practices on the court. My coach will then be shouting into the air in his PRC chinese accent, telling the entire team to stop and change position. I quickly re-focused back to class, and saw that my form teacher was already scribbling mathematical formulas on the board. Screening my eyes to figure out the foreign literature of symbols, I noticed that a new chapter was being introduced...

Lunch with Enoch

I had the pleasure of having Enoch's company for lunch. The fact that I'm taking off in less than a week's time is starting to sink in.

Prayer requests that I shared with him:

1. To be calm and steady when unforeseen and unfortunate circumstances occur. To have a positive mind.

2. To have a good church where I can grow spiritually, and to have a prayer support group.

3. To be focused on my studies, and to stay away from 'parasites' such as gambling, drugs, alcoholism, and pornography (taken from the movie Fireproof), as well as other distractions.

As of now, it's 5 days left. And I need to finish up my packing.
