God guides one's path in ways that we don't expect. He gives us hope, that wants to manifest itself in its own manner.
I pray for strength, and wisdom.
Suffered a bruised lower lip today in an unfortunate clash with my 10 year senior from nj. Haha what a way to build friendship.
Enjoyed worship prac today. It was good, learnt new stuff =D

Guess what, I'm talking to kay tai's mum online on msn. She said she's kay tai's secretary for now. Haha wonder if my mum has the time and energy to be mine. She wouldn't bother for sure (or maybe because I wouldn't want her to be my secretary haha oops).
Sent Ting Tzu to school just now. Why wake up so early, because I want to. I've been sleeping till 8 plus or even 9 the past few days, or perhaps weeks. The enlistment date is coming real soon, so better to get in tuned.
Got to go work alrdy..

Got the day off today. Was told by the boss that the work for me has to be sorted out so that she can delegate work properly. hahx that means i can sleep more at home. Not typical of me to like sleep..i've grown fonder of it somehow.
It's about 2 weeks before I enter the island not far off from changi. I'm getting mentally and physically prepared..not sure if its sufficient..i'm seriously out of shape.haha can barely run under 10min for 2.4km >.<
I stayed up last night to watch 2 great matches. Watched 1 live, and the other kept track online. Drove seumas and myself to tampines to meet Jin Chaw and his friend to watch Man U vs Liverpool. It was impressive play for Man U, totally controlled the game. Man U clearly deserved the win with the game they played last night. Then I got back home and kept track of Chelsea's match with Arsenal. Haha shhhsh..i support Chelsea. Old story..back to zola's time. And I was so happy they won 2-1 in the last minute! hahax! Drogba's seriously indispensable. Grant's gonna be so thankful to him.
Anyway, I have a meeting a cdc later. Gonna make some changes to the programme..hope it works out well. I'm sure it will.

yesterday was good friday, a day of mourning (for the death of jesus). and tmr's easter! so what's today's mood..hmm..
anyway, church was in the morning at 10am (I thought it was 9am >.<, so i reached there an hour earlier, and went for breakfast on my own instead). Came back and read some manga online. And I initiated an outing with my mum, annie, and maid, to watch 10k B.C at cine. It was not bad, quite ancient indeed. Those people caught as slaves saw the warriors on horses as 4 legged demons, who serve a God that I think is an albino. But the plot was pretty engaging, though predictable.
At night, I joined the gang for LAN gaming. Hahahx we were owned by pok and their gang, because we're really not that into LAN gaming. We play for leisure, and really I mean, leisure. So the other gang are well, the opposite.
And this morning, my mum bought me a crunpler bag for less than half the usual price out there. Not 'spoiling the market' in any way, it's just the law of demand at work here. We go for the best deals ahhax..and the cheapest of course (unless you're into high class goods, which indicates an income inelastic demand curve hahx). But I'm not really into branded things, because I do not see the worth in such goods for such a hefty sum of 'money' in exchange. We should walk the practical path (the bag should be feasible, and suited for your NEEDS), although there are exceptions at times (maybe you just want to impress the girl, or guy, or whoever, or perhaps just to satisfy your material cravings) --> not too good to start such a habit. Makes you look at things superficially. ZzZ...how 'un-deep' we humans can be. bleahxx..

Mum was ill this morning. Sent her to the clinic to find out the problem, but to no avail. So i went to work today on my own. And in the afternoon, i took a long nap ahahx...
Everyone's into admissions, applications, and scholarships..the list goes on. Crazy madness desperate, whichever word you choose, they seem to be applicable. But despite all the 'mayhem', we are rather focused. You get the point. Or don't you.
Had a little 'gentle' talk with the devil together. Struggled. Influenced. And fought. I'm glad I made it out alive. The atmosphere was simply terrible. I just sat there, spectating a war fought between the demons and my brain cells. Shouldn't find a reason to explain why it happened. It just did. And I wasn't glad about it. All of a sudden the inner principles and temptations began to meet, sat down with coffee and bread. And the latter seemed to overpower the former. And that's where the conclusion which I learned to regret surfaced.
Had a tiring morning. Muscles ached after all that exercise. I must prepare myself for the entry into the island of transformation, where 'boys become men'. Or so they call it. That's where they turn people into clones of one another. Similar depiction by the movie 'the island'.
ZzZ..must keep up on reading the bible. I'm still at exodus >.<
Just had a class gathering a while ago. Well, our 'class' today totalled 8 people. There was Varun, Shun, Mike, Basil, Suihang, Nat, XP, and dear oh me. But it was great catching with with them. Basil passed his driving test today..haha really happy for him. Now there' two people in our class who can drive.
I'm looking around at the different banks, because I want to open another bank account. But I need more financial planning for that. Need wisdom for that.
Life has been good so far. Doesn't need anything to make it special. It's special the way it is. Ok that's really vague. But guess I'll leave it as that.
Applied for MAS undergrad and FIREfly scholarships. And I'll leave them in God's mighty hands. He'll pave a way for me, in His own way.
Reading "Reaching for the invisible God" by Phillip Yancey. Pretty deep, thought provoking, enganging, enriching.

Results and results. I thank God for giving me such good results, and I'm sure he has a plan for everything. Haha, and I appreciate that God has answered prayers by placing the date of release after I came back from Taiwan, and well, after my birthday.
Right after the Taiwan trip, it was basically back to work.
On my birthday, my mum brought me to High Tea at the Equinox, under Swissotel I think. It was cool, eating lots of food and enjoying the view. From bird's eye view, the Singapore landscape definitely has changed pretty much, with the Ferry Wheel, construction of the IR, and a few others. I went to collect my army specs after the high tea, and I got myself a Farenheit album and Gary Chaw's (think it's spelt like this) aska dove. That night, I drove to the airport to fetch my dad back from Sydney, and at the same time, see Basil and the rest off to Maldives.
The next day, was results. And after results were collect, I joined a few of the guys and huiqian to serene centre for a drink, and we talked lots about army life. That evening, I went to a church leadership camp at Covenant Presbyterian Church, which is located in Little India. Dinner was so expensive. The 3 of us walked into an Indian cuisine restaurant that didn't look any expensive, and ordered a few dishes. In the end we paid 42 bucks -_-'' Simply 敲詐! But the camp later on, was not bad, learnt quite a few things about spiritual leadership. The discussions were great, and the games were so fun. I would go for such camps in the future wherever possible.
Lyrics from Brian Littrell, In Christ Alone
In Christ alone will I glory
Though I could pride myself in battles won
For I’ve been blessed beyond measure
And by His strength alone I’ll overcome
Oh, I could stop and count successes like diamonds in my hands
But those trophies could not equal to the grace by which I stand
Chorus:
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victoryLet it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
Is Christ alone
In Christ alone do I glory
For only by His grace I am redeemed
For only His tender mercy
Could reach beyond my weakness to my need
And now I seek no greater honor in just to know Him more
And to count my gains but losses to the glory of my Lord
Chorus:
In Christ alone
I place my trust
And find my glory in the power of the cross
In every victory
Let it be said of me
My source of strength
My source of hope
