Loved it. A night at Raffles Long Bar. The sling 1910, and a delicate glass of elegant kir royal. Topped with oldies mambo music from a multi-cultural live band. I'm glad my aunt enjoyed herself, listening to the tunes while excited about the instruments used.

Should visit there more often =D

Thank God I chose to remain a civilian to be (at least on weekends).

And I can't wait to plan a trip to Taiwan to visit my relatives and friends!

Finished my first evaluation officially. Met a general (the biggest boss in my unit). And fought my lungs out to defend my locality. And lose.

Thankfully, I have a place for rest, away from all those perplexities and stress. How would I survive without rest? I'll just be taken down, slowly, steadily. And my life energy will drain away.

Must not procrastinate anymore! I want my boat driving license, and already have someone to chiong the lessons with me! I'm also looking for cooking courses that last about a few months. Jiayou to myself!!

Just tidied up my room, and shifted my com to free up space on my desk. I cleared tonnes of files and old school documents. Now my room looks more spacious and tidy =D

Just a 2 hour fever today..after having an afternoon nap incubating in my warm room with a jacket on I felt cooler, though the head became heavier as if a huge rock just entered it.

The pastoral care team visited my home this afternoon, and had a great session with my parents. It's important to have such visits indeed!

First it was Vesak Day, then Mothers' Day. Didn't remember either of them till the day itself. I have got no clue to what gift I would want to have for my mum, and she didn't seem particular about it. So in the end, sadly, she didn't receive any mothers' day gift. Thus guilty O me would have to walk down the streets in the malls to hunt for a decent jewelery for my mother this weekend. I should give her a present, as much as it would come late.

Watched star trek yesterday. It wasn't as bad as I thought. At the beginning, the movie seemed so cliche and unoriginal when the protagonist was born after his dad died with the space craft to save his mother and him. Quite similar to star wars, I pondered. And it got better along the way. So I'm thankful that it was a worthy movie for the time and effort =D

I seriously need to get back in shape. Got to plan out a weekly exercise regime for myself! Cannot become lazy already!! >.<

Pray that this week's IPPT conduct will be great and smooth and professional!

I've taken over my platoon officially. Surreal >.< And the following week would be my first evaluation as a PC, and I'm nervous. How will I fare for my first time? Will they listen to me? Sure they will. They're disciplined - well most of them are - and they respect the rank and appointment I carry. So it shouldn't be a problem =) I must keep telling that to myself eh..why don't I just share this perturbed feeling with the Lord, and say, "Hey daddy Lord, here's my burden, and I need help. I am nothing without you. So give me the strength and courage to pull it through. Make me a commander that will glorify Your Name, just like how you've guided the likes of Moses and Joshua in the Old Testament." Just can't live without Him.

Had dinner with my parents just now, and we had a karaoke session right after that! Thought it was an hour, but nevertheless, we enjoyed ourselves, singing our hearts out to the melodious tunes of the oldies.
