The clocks ticks by, signifying another second added to your life, and you realise that every moment is precious and treasurable..

On the 21st July, I joined my church for a visitation to the sister church in JB to show our support for their efforts in mission trips. I was part of the youth worship group, and we sang the song by Paul Baloche, "What can I do". I sang the first verse of the song, and my ex-piano teacher told me it was her first time listening to me sing a solo. She's a church member as well.

School ends later nowadays, and time passes by ever so quickly. People come tell me the endings of Harry Potter, friends going off to find their girlfriends, and heading towards the cold-freezing library (Jess Beh says you'll feel that after staying in there an hour or so) to study. It sounds dreadful, that time should slow down to allow for more revision but you wish that it could move on quickly so that A's are over sooner. How ironic.

School's starting soon, and my economics homework is not yet halfway completed! And there's chocolate making (heard from my friends it's a complete waste of time, and thank God I have company) and food for thought (screening 'City of God') tomorrow. >.<>.< They're just worried about the current situation in Thailand, because the news reported bombings around over the past few months. Shawn just confirmed with me that our grandfather's birthday celebration will be pushed forward to this coming sunday night. It couldn't be held on the 20th because Zhi Min is going back to Aus real soon.

The juniors had training today in school at 2pm. But Coach wasn't present. He's somewhere around the world doing his sand sculptures. I played with them for about 2 hours and decided to have a rest and try to complete one more data response question. My skills are really rusty, and every shot is so lousy haha. But still not rusty as I thought though. While I was at the canteen doing my work, Melody happened to walk past and we started talking about Ideas Committee (btw she's the current head of Ideas). She told me Sarah claimed that I was the only person she knew that was in council and held top position in another cca at the same time. I was quite doubtful about that. But Melody agreed to Sarah's statement, so I just had to accept that for now.

The next few saturdays will be quite packed I think, though I want to make sure I get to the library and have a decent mugging session.

day after Youth Day

There's no school for every youth out there today. I'm not sure whether its 13-25 or for secondary and JC students. But anyway, I went for a morning swim today at Tamp swimming complex. I asked Kay Tai to join me, and he was keen about it, but this morning his phone was off, and he didn't turn up. Coincidently, I ran into him while I was leaving the complex. He told me he turned his house upside down to search for his swimming trunks. I thought, "you could have switched on your phone and pick up my call, or kindly send me an sms of your situation, so that I can save myself from thinking about waiting." But I guess that slipped his mind. Some other day then.

I went for about half an hour's swim this morning, because I didn't wish to injure myself. I haven't been exercising for almost 2 months, so I decided not to aggrevate a muscle strain i felt after around 10 laps. My usual style: breaststroke. Because it requires less energy than other strokes, and can swim for a longer time. Even after gym workouts, breaststroke is advised too.

Everyday's a brilliant day =)
